Volunteering at Grace Kennett Foundation has been the most rewarding experience of my life. I have volunteered five times since 2012 and I am so excited to go back. Every part of the children’s care is overseen with such high integrity and compassion, and the care and dedication of all the staff are profound. These children know from the moment they arrive that they are loved, and everything is done to find them a family of their own.
Not only is volunteering a deeply moving experience, but it is also always so much fun. The babies and children are bundles of joy and being in their presence lights me up and reminds me of what is important in life. From the moment I arrive in the morning, I am met with the most beautiful, smiling faces and there is never a dull moment. The staff are incredibly welcoming and make my time there so special, the area is very safe and there is always someone around to help you if you have any questions. I have the most wonderful memories and was truly enriched by my time at Grace Kennett Foundation.
